FACS 3rd Quarter
The beginning of
the quarter means that our Warrior students will be moving to a new
exploratory class. During Quarter 3, the Warriors will be in FACS
class with Mrs. Borg.
Quarter 2 Report Cards
Report
Cards for 2nd Quarter were posted electronically on the Infinite
Campus Portal rather than sent home on a paper copy. Grades were
posted on the Portal the morning of Monday, February 1 for you to
check. If you do not have a Portal account, please contact the CMS office. Students now have a fresh start for Quarter 3!
MAP testing - Feb. 1-3
8th
graders
will take the MAP tests February 1-3. Our team will make
adjustments to our daily schedule the 1st & 2nd to work around
the testing, but have a normal schedule on the 13th. The students do
not need to study for the MAP tests, but we would of course like them
to try their best! Students will see their scores the day of the test,
and score reports will be included in Student-Led Conference portfolios
in March.

Email us!!
Parents,
we would love to have your email address. We will compile a team email
list, and teachers will use it to occasionally email information about
our classes, upcoming team events, and things like copies of permission
slips. If you would please send us a quick email so we have your
address, we would greatly appreciate it! Our email addresses can be
found on the bottom right of this website. Thank you!
Make-Up Work Policy
If you are absent from school, please check the Warrior Team Homework Calendar
to find out about any class topics and assignments you missed, and also
check in with your teachers when you return to class. If you know
ahead of time that you will be missing school, please see your teachers
a few days ahead of time to let them know and get any assignments that
you will need.
Tardies Policy
Please
be on time to class! The sooner everyone is in class and ready to go,
the sooner we can get the learning started. We use bells between each
class period in 8th grade, so please listen for them and be ready to
start class on time. Students who are late to team classes three times
earn a lunch detention.
Students and Citizens of the month
Every month the Warrior team picks students and citizens of the
month. Students of the month are doing well academically, improving on
their schoolwork, and always working hard in school. Citizens
are students who are eager to help out their peers, and anyone else that
needs it. Many times those picked could be in either group!
